*Today, after sitting on her foot for a while on the bar stool, Haven came in and said with a really concerned tone in her voice, "Mom...? My foot is SIZZLING". Cracked me up!

*Some friends of ours were sharing their peanut M&M's with Haven. She was so excited, she came running to show me and said "MOM! LOOK! They're sharing their NUM NUM's!!"

*On the way to school the other day, Kalob asked, so curiously... "Mom? What's a BABY shower?" I cracked up, then explained that it was a party for someone's baby. Just funny... the things kids must think sometimes. What made him wonder that at that particular moment?... I'll never know.

*I've been working with Haven on the 'th' sound, vs. using the 'f' sound, and she's finally got it down. However, now she thinks that ALL 'F' sounds are supposed to be 'th'. I realized this when she exclaimed to me at the BMX track, "MOM! When Landon gets big, he can go on the track all by his SELTH!"

*I love how Haven refers to 'daytime' as "Happy Time"! Maybe it is due to the fact (as pointed out in a recent post about her incessant nighttime antics) that she HATES bedtime? She asks me often at night "Mom! Can we go to dat park at Happy Time!?" Or, "When it's Happy Time, can we go to Grandma's?" Makes me smile. :)

*Haven went with Kye over to Nick's house. Nick has 2 little girls, Kaitlyn and Kara. Haven came home and said to me,
"I went and played with my friend Carrot!" Made me laugh my head off!

*My mom was holding Haven once, looking at a bird in a bird cage. Another little toddler walked up and Haven promptly held up her hand and said "NO! Don't look at it!". My mom said "we must be NICE to our friends..." So Haven thought for a split second, then in her SWEETEST, NICEST voice said, "Go find your mom, kay?"

*When Kalob was about 3, he went and got a hair cut. He came back and told me, "MOM. The lady cut my hair, and now all I have left are crumbs!"
